Hunting Rules
- Hunting for water fowl only
- Wednesdays and Saturdays only throughout the hunting season.
- Hunting allowed only outside a designated safe zone on the Hussey property.
- Shooting begins only after birds begin to return after being flushed from ponds and fields.
- Shooting after 3:00 p.m. on any day is prohibited.
- Shooting at flocks of greater than 10 ducks is not allowed.
- All garbage including shell casings to be removed daily.
- Trained dogs allowed with property owner’s approval
- Decoys provided for each blind and must be rebagged and returned daily to the blind
- All hunters to wear camouflage green or brown clothing.
- Parking only in designated area.
- Hunters will complete a daily bag report (provided).
- 12 gauge or smaller shotguns only.
- 1 box (25) of 2 ¾ steel shot shells daily only.
- All federal and state laws will be enforced.
- Hunters are responsible and will be held liable for any and all damage which may occur from hunting on the property including, but not limited to, broken or cracked windows of homes in the area.
- Liability waiver (provided) to be signed by all hunters.
- Violations of any rule will result in an immediate end to any hunt. No refunds will be allowed.
